On Saturday I photographed a very short, but intimate wedding for Daniel and Masako, neither of whom I had met before hand. I always get a little nervous when I show up and have never met the couple. I always like to do an engagement session at some point before the wedding so that I get a chance to get to know the couple and for them to get more comfortable with me so that when the wedding day comes its just “Hey, it’s just Erik our photographer, nothing to worry about!”. But on saturday, everyone welcomed me right in and Daniel and Masako performed in front of my camera as if I had known them for years.
My first stop of the afternoon just so happened to be two units down the hall in the same condo building I live in. Talk about convenience! Both the ceremony and photos were taken at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald. The flowers were done by the amazing talent of Kimberly and her staff at Best Buds Flowers.
Thank you Daniel and Masako for inviting me along to photograph your wedding! I hope you enjoy this small taste of your photos – I hope you love them as much as I do!
Enjoy.
