Erin and Alex were friends of previous clients of mine, Emily and Michael.  I love it when a couple hear about me through word-of-mouth and then hire me – i really feel like im doing a pretty good job when that happens!  Both Erin and Alex are very natural together and easy to relax. They are also very hard working and caring – Alex, and orthopaedic surgeon and Erin, a nurse.  Even though the weather was gloomy and rainy for the entire day there were no complaints or disappointment. Everyone was just simply happy and hilarious. Everyone from the family to the guest were an extreme pleasure to be around during the day. I was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to document this day for them.

Both the ceremony and reception were held at the University of Alberta Faculty Club.  This place always knows how to class it up! Thier food is to die for! The brocolli and cheesecake last night were absolutely stellar! The stunning flowers featured prominently below were created by the very talented Kim and her crew at Best Buds Flower Company.

Because of the weather this obviously created a little hiccup in the photographic plans.  Erin and Alex chose the Legislative Grounds as their destination, and it worked out great.  We were able to take cover from the rain while it rained, and while there was a break in the downfall we were able to snap away!
