Saturday was the wonderful wedding of Clayton and Neasreen! If I only had the space and time to post a ton more images how perfect the day was. The only thing that wasn’t in our favor was the weather – but not even that mattered one bit to Clayton and Nez. Their wedding was actually split into two parts – the ceremony and reception dinner on the Saturday, and then on Sunday was a big event at a night club. Unfortunately, because of an insane lack of free time on Sunday I wasn’t able to attend this event (which according to facebook photos looks like it was an event unlike no other).
Below are a few photos from the morning – getting ready, and ceremony. Clayton and Nez opted out of having their couple photos done due to the weather outside, and lack of time. So we’ll be doing some killer shots of them when they get back from their honeymoon in Thailand.
For the other photographers reading this post, this is the first wedding I shot with my new Canon 5D Mark II. This camera is a dream to use, mind you, a very complex beast that needs to be tamed. This camera was a huge upgrade for me, and it’s amazing how fine I can tune this camera and make it mine. I can put this camera in your hands, and you might have difficulty getting it to take a picture because I have it dialed in to specifically work the way I want it to work. The high ISO capability is incredible, letting me shoot at ISO 1600, and even 3200 and get a very usable photo with very little grain. It’s awesome. The only disappointment I have with the camera so far is it’s autofocus – it can be very slow in low light, which leaves me having to focus manually at times, and having to manually focus in this day and age is a real chore!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the first half of the day. Enjoy!
At the Salon
Nez told me, “my grandma is the most important person on the day. don’t forget about her!”. She is a beautiful lady.
Always get a shot of the bouqet
Who needed me?
Nervous hands.

Hey! That shot at the Salon! That’s Jane in the background! She’s my stylist and I swear I’ve been using her for 3 years. Awesome!
Your work is fantastic, think I may have to get some business cards from you so I can pass them out! Need to put the pressure on the boyfriend just so I can have some engagement photo’s or wedding photo’s taken by you!
