Today I finally had the chance to break in and field test my new camera on an actual human, rather than little trinkits around the condo.  For those who care, my new baby is a Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Thank you to Lane for being the subject! Lane is a member of the Mavericks soccer team, of which I coach and that Lindsey plays on as well. Lane is also aspiring to be a teacher, and is in fact starting her first day tomorrow as a student teacher in a grade one classroom. It was a crisp, cold, and sunless afternoon in downtown Edmonton but we sucked it up and had a blast.
