Hello! I’m posting this from the Palliser lodge in Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, just outside Golden, British Columbia.  We arrived yesterday afternoon, and since then my assistant Erin and I have been just hanging out. And by hanging out I mean editing photos and other business related work. Last night we took an hour and wandered around the resort area and took a few photos until its started to rain again.

Today we are shooting Thea and Dougs wedding, and we start shooting in two hours. Their ceremony and reception is taking place at the Eagle Eye which requires a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. I’m not to good with heights, but I will just have to suck it up!

I’ve been to this Resort before. We came here last New Years with our friends Jenelle and Patrick for some snowboarding and skiing. It’s really cool to be back here again, eat at the same restaurant, and see the place without snow. At least this time I don’t have to make the seven hour drive back to edmonton with a sore butt (second time snowboarding, not easy)
